Seeing their piece of crap car in front of my house is an eye sore, and takes up parking for my guests when they come to my place.
And yes, I know it's perfectly legal, and I don't mind if it's a "one off" occurrence.
Seems that when I was growing up in my old community, it was an unwritten rule that you didn't park in front of your neighbors house. It was the respectful thing to do.

If it happens on a consistent basis, I'll agree with you 100%. That being said, one off's do occur, especially in newer communities, where parking is not as abundant. For example, say you are attending a friend's house on the street below (note, this is just a random street I pulled off of Google Street View)

If this friend invited more people over than parking allows in front of their house / on their driveway, then obviously, one of their neighbors is going to have a car parked in front of their house. Does that gave that neighbor the right to write angry notes demanding people not park in front of their house? I don't think it does.
