those are the best reviews anywhere online, Yahtzee rules. and i agree, the planet scanning got old rather quickly. thankfully once you beat the game and start with another character it's less of an issue since you get 50k of each mineral to start, but i'm guessing Bioware will listen to the fans again and dump the planet scanning for ME3
