I as well went into the Sony store last weekend and took a look the readers. I wasn't blown away by the pocket or the touch. I thought the screen size for the pocket was small. I think I would prefer something bigger, but it would still be ok. I liked the weight of both of them. Nice and light. Lighter than lots of books actually. The screens on them where ok. Hardly just like paper. More etch-a-sketch than paper, but still readable. I think $240 for the cheapest one is too much money for a stand alone eReader. I sure hope the iPad can deliver as a suitable eReader.
