I don't get why people are defending this.

She clearly damaged (permanently or not) property that was not hers. She knew it was wrong. She knew she would get punished, clearly didn't care and did it anyway.

I am sure your tune would change if you got up and it was written on your garage door or on the windshield of your car.

Handcuffs? Excessive maybe. But I am willing to bet there is a lot of background we aren't hearing about.

Maybe now she'll think twice about defacing or otherwise damaging property that is not hers.
