More important though, I have a high instep/arch whatever you wanna call it (a high arching midfoot, that needs support underneath and also space overtop in top of the shell of the boot, with decent width in the toe box as well), and I found that Atomic were the best boot for my foot.

that describes my situation, i havent been to Ski West yet, but i will look at the Atomics, did you have to get a special foot bed as well?
