Yeah I remember vividly being at C.O.P. in a t-shirt during one of the bobsled events, IIRC it was 15 or 16 C outside.
The best part of that stretch was being down on electric ave and the ladies were able to wear short skirts etc, which made the nights all that much more entertaining.
I would suggest however, that rain is a much bigger problem than warmth for the alpine events, and that is something I couldnt wrap my head around when they announced Whistler as getting those events....having lived in Vancouver for 3 years many moons ago, it was always raining in February by my recollection...always.
