Yes because that threat has been prevelant for a long time. The American's have shown little interest in actually engaging in a ground war with Iran, and thats with provocation from Iran where they were allowing insurgents to use Iran as a rearming base for attacks into Iran. If you want provocation then Iran is basically challenging the world by building nuclear weapons, if anything Nuclear Weapons development in Iran is an anti-deterrant.

I'm not sure if Iran's leadership is all that foreward looking. They are the great unknown. We know for the most part that Isreal is stable and rational as are most of the other countries in the Nuclear club. The same can't be said about Iran, especially when they have threatened a neighbouring nation with religion based cleansing on many occassions.

Yeah, but in this case Abormoran, the guy who aspries to anti-holocaust theory and has shown an incredible willingness to stand by and watch his own people die for crimes against god is not exactly a picture or clear and lucid and intelligent leadership.
