Haha yeah, in the commercials it sounds like he's trying to do Boston Southie, and keeps getting it messed up with a New Yorker (Brooklyn maybe?) and like you said some of his natural accent comes through...
Reminded me a bit of American Gangster. Great movie, but Russell Crowe should have been shot for his accent. GAH!!! Another Aussie messing up a localized US accent.
They need to take lessons from Hugh Laurie.
