It's a cool excursion if you've already been to NY a few times and seen the major attractions. You walk the Brooklyn Bridge which if I'm not mistaken is 1-2km, so it doesn't take that long and see a different view of Manhattan and the statue of liberty. You walk along the apartments that look like where the Cosby Show was filmed back in the day and with the help of a map arrive at the waterfront of Brooklyn. Grimaldi's is right there and the old ice cream shop across the street on the pier is pretty decent.

My uncle lives in Hoboken and there's a Grimaldi's there as well, went to that one.
Didn't get a chance to walk the Brooklyn bridge which is high on my to do list for next time.
