This might be more hassle than you want, but you could convert them to a word doc using
Zamzar and use the tools in word. Alternately, you could use Microsofts OneNote, which will let you import the printout of any file, then you could use the tools there, which are pretty similar to Word. Then with either of those options, you could print back to pdf.
Not perfect solutions by any means, but they might do the job depending on how often you need to do it.
