What lighting options are there for the Kindle?

I have a Sony PRS-700 which has the much maligned side lighting but I love this feature. There have been complaints of a fuzzy screen etc. but, given that I have crap eyesight in the first place, it looks fine to me! None of the new Sony Readers have lighting capabilities which is a big turnoff for me. What is available for the Kindle?
