We all know that when a disaster happens else where the US normally offers aid but how come no one is offering aid to the US. I might be wrong but I have not heard any other country offering aid other than a small article in the Sun that mentioned Canada is monitoring the situation and will offer what ever is needed but no details yet.

First order of business was for Canada to send volunteers and medical supplies. Specifically, we are sending antibiotics to stop the spread of disease.
Obviously we can't send our troops in to help in the clean-up unless they ask for it, but Hillier said that we're ready to send in help the moment they ask for it. But we are sending police down to help out.
I think lots of countries are helping out. It just doesn't make it on CNN. The US doesn't like to hear about other countries helping THEM.
