We all know that when a disaster happens else where the US normally offers aid but how come no one is offering aid to the US. I might be wrong but I have not heard any other country offering aid other than a small article in the Sun that mentioned Canada is monitoring the situation and will offer what ever is needed but no details yet.

I may be wrong on this as I heard it second hand, but I heard Holland has offered engineers to help rebuild/inprove the levee as well as clean up the mess. Like I said I heard this from a co-worker, but this does seem likely, as who would have better experience in this sort of thing than the dutch.
