My girlfriend's grandparents just celebrated the 100 year anniversary of their farm. The MLA for the region showed up for the party (I can't remember his name off the top of my head) as did over 100 other guests. Pretty cool to have their centennial on the same year as Alberta's, and pretty crazy to think of how much different things were back then.
