To me, it's a sad time... you don't know what to feel really. You tell yourself it's the humane thing to do, but you have a feeling of guilt because you're basically pulling the trigger on a friend. There are times when he looks 100% and has energy but it's taken a huge turn for the worse and I just can't keep him in that pain/condition any longer than I have too... The place we plan on taking him is right next door to the Petland we got him at almost 12 years ago so it's kind of full circle.
