Problem is a
one day buying boycott doesn't work unless
everyone also parked their cars for one day and didn't use any of the gas that they otherwise would have. If everyone just buys the same amount of gas as before, but simply does so on a different day instead, have we really changed anything? Not by my math.
Any besides, as mentioned elsewhere, oil companies aren't just owned by big name billionares. As two quick examples, for less than $60 you too can own a piece of Encana (
ECA) or Canaidan Natural Resources (
CNQ) which are both at or near record hights today. Then you too can reap crazy profits!
