I'm all for suspension of disbelief for whatever crazy explanation they have, but I can't suspend disbelief for basic human interaction.

So what you're saying is you've never seen an episode and therefore know nothing about these characters, their backgrounds or the relationships they've built with the people they interact with, but you feel that you can adequately judge their motivations for saying or doing things? Great analysis, why don't we try this.
"I've never watched a game of hockey, and don't really understand the sport but last night I watched Sidney Crosby play and he was terrible, he sucks at hockey".
