(thought I do admittedly speed, a lot).# The fact of the matter is, I am a safe driver which is all that really matters in my book.

You admittedly speed alot, yet you think you're a safe driver?
What is safe about speeding alot?

It's very possible to exceed speed limits and still be a safe driver. Look at Nascar and Indy, those guys drive upwards of 200mph sometimes and seldom crash.
I don't always speed a lot, mainly I like to do 60mph on a 2 or 3 lane road, regardless of the posted speed limit. I've been driving for about 5 years now and I have enough experience and I believe 60 is my comfortable niche. Fast enough to get where I'm going and move around these old fogies we have here in FL, yet not blazing to be so obviously pulled over by law enforcement.
One of the other reasons I say I speed a lot is because, for example, in my neighborhood there is a rather long main road, 2 lanes each way, with a posted speed limit of 35mph. I think it's just a ridiculous number, and I choose to go 55-60 on it. There is hardly any traffic whatsoever.
Besides that, I have great vision and hearing, so it's not like anything like that is impairing my judgement or ability to operate a car, albeit at "illegal" speeds.
