Thats fine if Hagman and Stajan are 2nd and 3rd liners. They're still better then many of the 2nd and 3rd liners we have now, some of which get top line time.
As Boomer said on the radio, if the Flames would've have those established guys instead of waiting for a Nystrom goal or Glencross, or lighting candles for Lundmark, maybe the 9 game slide wouldn't have been 9, it would been losing 4 or 5 of 9, as in each of those games, the Flames were down by no more then 1 goal in the 3rd (barring SJ).
Short term, as I said, this helps the depth rather then having all the healthy forwards automatically get into the lineup now no matter how craptacular they are playing.
