The more I see it, the more I hate it. The Keith Aulie part is the part that I don't care about. It's a panic move, and I think it's pretty much a fact that Darryl Sutter refuses to let a team grow and develop properly. Since he became GM, he was never one to trade a 1st rounder at a deadline, and always spoke of the overpaying that occurs at deadlines. Then when he does give up a 1st rounder, we end up with Olli Jokinen. Good enough player, but not worth his salary, or what we gave up to get him. Now, we have no 1st rounder, so he gives up Phaneuf for a very moderate package of players.....not liking this.
