I think you may be on to something.
With Jacob and Jacobs nemesis... I have a feeling that it will be sorta a Jacob and Esau story. Jacob steals Esau's birthright(the island) and then iirc Esau becomes the leader of an army and then meets Jacob in some kind of battle but they don't fight and all live happily ever after.Not sure if they will end this show with out a big showdown... So we shall see.
Also I remember Ben playing the part of King David in one episode. He sent Goodwin in a position where he would likely die (Mr. Eko's camp) so he could pursue Juliette. King David did this to Bathsheba's husband... Can't remember his name. I do believe it was King David who did this though. Maybe it will be a David and Goliath thing with Ben and whomever... (Just fun longshot predictions now)
My recollection of these stories is a little shaky so you may want to look these up. Correct me if I am wrong.
