That makes my point exactly. People wanted a portable music device, so they bought one.
In today's society, people are as much concerned about having access to their internet and email everywhere they go, as they are to have music wherever they go. Now, many devices can do this, but don't really do it well. That's where the iPad kind of device comes in.
