So many creepy things in the N.Korea documentary. Like the food being put out and then taken back, the near vacant highways, or that girl who likely waits half a year between customers. I've been taken on tours of places where you know that you aren't being shown the real place, but never to that extent. Never to the point where everyone is lying to you.

I just can't wrap my head around the idea of showing so much opulence to tourists while believing that the great leaders who require this deception are demi-gods. For those involved, guides, hostesses, etc., how can they pantomime largess and not even question? Or is it the ones who only question to themselves that accent to the lofty positions of guides and hostesses?

Fataing crazy.
