As true as that is, I remember reading a study that on average South Korean soldiers were about 2 inches taller and 20 pounds heavier then the equivalent NK solider. Even though the army is by NK standards very well fed their diet leaves a lot to be desired.

Just like you don't want to stick your head up when your working the DMZ, some North Korean sniper might blow your head completely off.
