Perhaps Cameron was simply pointing the finger at how the Tribes in the Rainforest have been driven from their peaceful existance all in the name of resources. Or perhaps he is pointing the finger at American foriegn policies that the United States have made a historical practice of pillaging any 3rd world nation for profit regardless of the means.
He creates this fantasic visual escape and then you watch it be destroyed.
Avatar is an eyegasim. Now over 1.8 billion worldwide Its going to be interesting to see what happens come Grammy time.
