- God ("Heavenly Father") has at least one wife, our "Mother in Heaven," but she is so holy that we are not to discuss her nor pray to her.
- Jesus was married.
- We can become like God and rule over our own universe.
- There are many gods, ruling over their own worlds.
- Jesus and Satan ("Lucifer") are brothers, and they are our brothers - we are all spirit children of Heavenly Father
- Before coming to this earth we lived as spirits in a "pre-existence", during which we were tested; our position in this life (whether born to Mormons or savages, or in America or Africa) is our reward or punishment for our obedience in that life.
- Dark skin is a curse from God, the result of our sin, or the sin of our ancestors. If sufficiently righteous, a dark-skinned person will become light-skinned.
- Not only will human beings be resurrected to eternal life, but also all animals - everything that has ever lived on earth - will be resurrected and dwell in heaven.
- Mormons should avoid traveling on water, since Satan rules the waters.
- A righteous Mormon will actually see the face of God in the Mormon temple.
This list does not even mention the practice of baptizing the dead. I have no problems with Mormons, a large portion of my family and friends remain LDS and they're all great people. These, however, are the beliefs that they choose to subscribe to.

There are several items on your list that are accurate beliefs of the LDS church, including the belief that God was once a man and that he once had a body of flesh and blood. They believe there is a heavenly mother but there is no worship of her or anything of that nature. They believe in the pre-existence. The notion that if we were born into unfortunate circumstances it means we were wicked in the pre-mortal life is completely inaccurate. The notion that righteous mormons will see the face of God in the temple is also a false statement. Mormons believe that God can dwell in the temple because it is his house and that there are a select few who have seen God in their lives, but that all righteous members will get that opportunity is completely false.
