None of the above. Mormons believe that the "whole" truth of Christ's teachings, as well as his authority, or priesthood, was lost from the earth after Christ was crucified and all of the disciples died or were killed. Christianity continued and eventually evolved into the different factions we know today, but those churches we only partially true as they lacked the priesthood and therefore direction of Christ.
Mormons believe that the true church in its entirety was restored by Joseph Smith in the early 1800's after receiving direction from God and Jesus Christ in the form of a vision. Whereas the Catholic church and many other Christian denominations believe that the skies are closed and that God no longer communicates directly with man, Mormons believe that revelation and prophecy are alive and well, and the Mormon church is led by Jesus Christ himself, through the direction of a living prophet.
Anyone who claims that Mormons are not Christians knows absolutely nothing about the faith. The formal name of the Mormon church is "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints." Whether you agree with the way they practice their beliefs or not, Christ is absolutely central to the Mormon religion.
