It think once the new technology is combined with a movie with all the other elements that make a movie good (plot, acting, dialogue, etc) you will see a true masterpiece.

To put this another way. A masterpiece should be a near perfect film, or at the very least one that is not easily improved on.

Looking at the plot, acting, and dalogue in Avatar, there are many things that could be improved.

Acting? Really?

I thought it was Zoe Saldana's best performance. Sam Worthington was very good again and the supporting roles were played excellently. I would definitely have issue with any complaints about the acting.
