Conan's ratings were in the toilet, he should take some blame for that. Instead he takes over a top rated and legendary show in a dirty way. Turns it in to a ratings loser and then whines and blames everyone for NBC trying to undo the mistake.
He should've taken NBCs offer to move 30 minutes and all people involved would be able to go on. He turned it in to a mess and threw everyone under the bus while doing it.
What a sore loser this guy is.

Why was it a dirty trick? Leno agreed to it back then. Conan had leverage because he could have jumped to ABC/Fox and done a earlier show on those channels. He basically said he didn't want to be stuck at 12 the rest of his career and they negotiated and gave him the Tonight Show which Leno agreed to. It would be the same thing as me getting another offer from a competing company for VP and being somewhat loyal to my current employer I would talk to them about it and see what they would counter offer. I am not that mad at Leno because he obviously thought he would be done 5 yrs ago and that was not the case and he wanted his job back.
Leno turned the Tonight Show into a loser at first too. NBC gave him time to build an audience. Not sure if that would have happened with Conan as I think a lot of his fans are internet savvy and just watch it online.
