I'm pretty excited about the game. It's been what, 5 years in the making? I've been an JRPG whore since I first played Dragon Warrior and Final Fantasy on the NES. In fact, I think I have 3 copies of FF1, the original NES version, the PS1 remake, and the GBA remake.

I must say, I was a little put off by the direction FFXII went though. I didn't enjoy the battle system all that much, and the story was a bit lacking IMO. I'm hoping FFXIII redeems the series for me with a kick butt story.

So far, FFXIII looks visually stunning, but after reading some reviews, I don't know how I feel about the battle system, or some of the characters. I guess I'll find out come March 9.
