Do you live in Calgary? If so, do you find that you have proper access to facilities you wish to utilize?
It is fairly good, although the C-train passes me off to no end sometimes when I have to watch 2 or 3 old trains with no-ramps come and go before I can go anywhere!! [/b][/quote]
Last summer, on one of the rare occasions I was using the c-train, it stopped at the city hall station and this native guy in a wheelchair tried to roll in but his chair was too wide. Myself and this lady tried to squeeze him through the door but there was no way and with the temp about 35 inside and other rush hour commuters looking a little gruff we had to leave him there, watching as he faded in the distance.

I'm not sure what else we could have done and assumed there were other trains that could accomodate the size of his chair given he seemed to be practiced at it.

The guy never said a single word the entire time. No plea. No protest as the doors closed. Just looked a little defeated in the eyes.

What else could we have done? Was he okay with another train on the system?

Also, when you're just about bursting to pee I would imagine its a little painful to maneuver yourself out of the chair and onto a toilet versus the guy who can just walk up to the urinal and let go with a big sigh.
