Ya, the sun bowl sucks unless you get some decent snow. I was there last weekend and they had 18cm of new snow and the sun bowl was absolutly fantastic.
i usually stay away from the sun bowl thought because everyone on the mountain seems to head over there.
I agree that it doesn't get as much snow as Fernie. Btw have you tried Castle? Just as much snow as Fernie but half the people really an awesome hill with some unreal runs
Next time you go to panorama I would suggest you try these runs (My favs)
Tayton Bowl Never Never Land( bit of a hike but worth it takes about 45 minutes - 1 hr round trip per run)
Stumbocks (off of view of a thousand
From the summit (my favorite circit is Gunbarrel to Orca to Last Chance to Tacky! (This will get your thighs screaming at you
)
Hidaway (My favorite for tree skiing)
