I just unlocked the M16 and I'm loving it! I was using the scar-h (mostly) before and M16 has added about 3-5 kills for me just due to less recoil.

I also have been playing with a sub machine gun / shot gun class. I use Marathon, lightweight and ninja as perks. this works well for tight maps with a lot of corners. I just run around like an idiot and hope I have the faster trigger when I see someone.
