I fail to see what the big deal is with moving if they're moving to an equal or better seat?
It's not a right to sit where you want on a plane. It's not even a right to be served by an airline.
Just move! lol

If it's an equal to seat and you're travelling alone, then MAYBE it's alright. But the fact is, he was with his pregnant wife. Regardless of how long the flight was or how preggo the girl was (6mths, iirc) the husband has a duty to his wife. To make help her be more comfortable, to maybe run to the back to get some water, to do whatever, really. You think some strange woman they just moved to the seat is going to do all that? What if she's hefty and takes up 1.5 seats? And smells like a hobo? Who is that fair to? It sounds miniscule, sure. But why do they have to be separated for their flight? Because there's a 0.0001 per cent chance he's sitting next to a pedophile who simply can't resist the urges to rape someone on a plane?
I get what you're trying to say in that it's not really that big of a deal if you're alone, etc. But it's the premise. If sitting kids next to adult males is a no-no on BA, then that's a scheduling snafu by the front desk to let it happen in the first place and is not that guy's problem, nor is it his pregnant wife's problem.
