Its not illegal, its just frowned upon... Like masturbating on a plane.

BTW... I think this is actually a very reasonable thing for an airline to do... These days and ages there are so many perverts out there... But I also think a child is as likely to be fondled by an adult women as well. But it is good they are doing this to protect children.

plus, who the hell wants to sit beside a kid for 13 hours?
