I already explained why the time slot is so important and why Leno's show had a much tougher slot.
Or maybe it means that the Leno show was set to fail from the get go. it was a big gamble (comedy at prime time) and it did not work. He had to compete with all the prime time shows, not the comedy fillers. Leno at 11:35 is a winner and has been for 15 years
