Ratings weren't even the topic at hand with that comment. you were trying imply that somehow Leno's humour was so much superior to Conan's. I was simply trying to point out that it wasn't.
Leno's comedy if anything is so much less intelligent than Conan's, it's so one dimensional, boring, exactly what it appears to be. Conan's is much more original, and often has a touch of irony attached to it.
