Calgary needs about 500k sq-ft of new space every year these days, we also have one of the lowest vacancy rates in the world, or about 3%.

Encana will be 2M sq-ft, but will take ~5 years to finish.

Assuming 6% is a healthy vacancy rate, Calgary can not only handle Encana in stride but could easily take on ANOTHER 2M sq-ft of new space. That is without factoring in growth in the growth rate...

Crazy....
