My kids play lots of sports which causes us to travel the City allot. Other parents have left at similiar times (From Sundance) and took Deerfoot, they arrived much later at the Hockey Arena's or Soccer Centre's.
Problem with Deerfoot is, when is it not rush hour. Especially if a person is traveling to the North for Hockey or Soccer.
Sorry I am comparing the route to Deerfoot. Glenmore / Crowchild is a good route but it depends on the end location.
For example if I am travelling to the NW Soccer Centre I would take Sarcee.
