I think it came down to versatility.
revis was, without question, the single most dominant shutdown guy in the league..period. He did one thing way better than everyone else.
Woodson did everything however, and did it all at a very high level. Int's, fumbles forced, TACKLING, blitzing, and of course very good cover guy.
IMO...this was a no-brainer although all the other candidates had a terrific year as well.
