This, frankly, is one of the reasons why the Flames needed to bid hard for this tournament. You don't think the CHL would have killed itself to have 19,289 fans at its feature game? The Flames stupidity in not wanting to book the arena "just in case" might well ensure that a lesser Western team gets a gift passage to the Memorial Cup.
Personally though, if I am Kisio, I'd go for it. We are one of the teams that
can beat Brandon. You don't know how long you can remain at the top, so being timid about it won't do us anything good.
