What do Chinese people *really* think of the commie government? Do their opinions change when they leave the country and get exposed to western media?
Another question while I'm here:
Some Chinese guys seem to have an unusual routine in the bathroom at work, and I'm wondering if it's a cultural thing: Every time they use the sink, they'll splash water all over their faces (like washing, without the soap), and then cup some water in their hand and slurp it up. I've never seen a white person do this, and I wouldn't have any desire to do so.
Is it something cultural, or am I just encountering weirdos?
p.s.: Interesting idea for a thread. I work with many Chinese people and am often confused by their "strange" ways.
