Some factoids about my beloved Packers....
The last time Green Bay played a playoff game without Favre as their starting QB, Rodgers wasnt even born yet. January 8, 1983 Lynn Dickey beat the Rams at Lambeau. Rodgers was born in December that year.
The last time the Pack won a road playoff game without Favre? 41 years ago when Bart Starr and GB pasted Oakland 33-14 in Super Bowl II.
Rodgers finished as the #2 ranked QB against the blitz with a rating of 117.4.... Warner was 4th at 111.8 (Elias Sports Bureau)
Here are two of the big reasons i give GB a real good chance to win tomorrow...
1. Cardinals have committed 36 turnovers, No. 31 in the NFL. The Packers have caused 40 turnovers, No. 1 in the NFL.
2. Packers have committed 16 turnovers, No. 1 in the NFL. Arizona has caused 29 turnovers, No. 11 in the NFL.
The biggest reason i am worried?
Quote:
According to ESPN Stats & Information, the Steelers used a three-receiver set more than any other NFL team in 2009. The Cardinals ranked No. 8 on that list with 303 instances, or about 31 percent of their total plays. They have also used four-receiver sets on about 20 percent of their plays.
So, roughly speaking, the Cardinals used three- or four-receiver sets on more than half of their plays

The last team GB faced that played a similar style was the Steelers...and Roethlisburger went off for 503 yds against the defense that featured either Jarret Bussh or Josh Bell one on one with a receiver. If Boldin plays, advantage AZ, if he doesnt, then its even IMO.
Either way it will be fairly high scoring though.
The two teams combined for over 11,500 yds of offense, 836 pts including 100 TD's.
I will go with 27-24 Packers as a complete homer pick.
Im already nervous.
