Good luck finding the ring. I left mine in the dressing room at the soccer centre after a game once. I usually keep it on for games as it is just a band and isn't a danger to anyone, but some refs are picky.
So I tucked it into my bag and after the game I put it on the bench in the dressing room and forgot to put it on. Noticed the next day and frantically called a few of the guys who were still in there when I left. Called the soccer centre and they had nothing. Decided to drive over there and talk in person about it and someone overheard, said that one of the workers mentioned finding one and tucked it into a drawer. I described it, it matched.
I don't think that an object is of much importance in the big picture of a marriage, even something as symbolic as the wedding ring. Being human means that sometimes things like this might happen, and it doesn't change your relationship. But I sure felt badly for forgetting it. I hope that you have a good update for us!!!
