@$@!$ So I lost my wedding ring in the snow
Long story short, I went to a gas station to fill up my washer fluid. In the process of doing said duty, my hands got filthy. I found a nice snowbank to clean my hands in, washed em up and was on my way. I got 5 mins down the road and noticed my ring was gone.
Went back and immediately checked when I put my hands in the snow, and wasnt there. I expanded my search, nothing. Looked everywhere. It's so mucky and slushy now that everything's melted, I can't see a thing. I should note that I may have shook my hands to get residual snow off my hands... who knows.
Went to home hardware, got some metal mesh and began shovelling snow into the mesh and sift... no luck. Guys at HH didn't sound too confident that a metal detector would detect white gold...
Other than waiting for the snow to melt, any other suggestions?
