Biggest problem I can think of with this is that nowadays, people think that ANYONE can or should go into post-secondary, so people who in the past might not have even tried, now find themselves "not being ready", when in the past they would have been considered just not smart enough. Now it's the educational system that is at fault, not the individual's career path choices.
Not everyone can handle university, regardless of the level of education they were subject to.
