Are you month to month or near the end of a contract? I had Fido before for about 8 years and the per-second billing makes a difference. Reason why I left for Rogers is I wanted a Blackberry and Fido wasn't offering at the time.

Paid about $27 tax in. Depending how good a negotiator you are, you could get a voice/1GB data plan for around $50-60.
