Are you month to month or near the end of a contract? I had Fido before for about 8 years and the per-second billing makes a difference. Reason why I left for Rogers is I wanted a Blackberry and Fido wasn't offering at the time.

Call Fido Customer Relations/Retention and see what they can do for you.

For reference, my old plan at Fido had:
100 daytime mins
1000 eve/weekends
caller ID
unlimited incoming
local fido to fido/rogers/rogers home
no sms though

Paid about $27 tax in. Depending how good a negotiator you are, you could get a voice/1GB data plan for around $50-60.
