When I'm at home, I feel I'm restricted to what the network wants you to see. Of course, replays and sky cam, etc. always show the whole play after the fact, but that development of the play is missing from home, IMO.
I agree, in the stadium you can see the play develop and know exactly where the ball is going to go. On TV the QB drops back in the pocket, launches a pass, and for a split second you have no idea what is happening down field off screen.
