I was listening to the Chiefs broadcast on Sunday driving home and they mentioned that the Chiefs receivers had 50 dropped passes on the season at one point in the game one short of an NFL record. Blows my mind, I can practice and learn to catch a football. I can't run 40 yards in 4.4 seconds or less, I can't turn on a dime and run precise routes, I can't out jump a lot of people. I don't think I can get to the side lines and make sure I get two feet down before I go out of bounds. But the one thing I can learn to do is catch a freaking football.
Dustin Colquitt also came one punt short of tying a record for most punts inside the opponents 20 yard line. Ryan Succup aka Mr.Irrelevent also tied a rookie record by hitting on 25 of 29 field goals for the season for accuracy %.
