I don't know if I am convinced it will be good though. Its not the 1990's anymore. All the band members are older. Some things are better off as we remember them. Comebacks rarely work. Soundgarden's evolution now has a 13 year gap...so do they pick up where they left off? Will they sound dated? A return to something like Badmotorfinger? I would love it to be great but not expecting it. I'm just as happy to put on the old records.

I think the new Alice In Chains is a really good and honest return that comes from a genuine place, but even it sounds a little bit dated.

If Cornell really wanted to stay relevant he would've tried to make some interesting music instead of trying to become the next Nelly Furtado.
